“Injured horses and orphaned foals–the whole scene is shocking,” explains Libby Lovegrove, Founder, Wild Horses Kimberley.

How old was this wild horse?

  1. As the owner of brumby horses their is a better way these brumbies make such wonderful riding horses, and the aerial culling is NOT humane shame on the Government and the RSPCA.

  2. Please end this madness,please..how can you watch such a beautiful animal suffer like that! You are worse then the BLM..who made you GOD who decides who lives or dies.I am sick to my very soul..SHAME,SHAME OM YOU..

  3. Foals, mares, pregnant mares! how can such a beautiful creature like this suffer something so inhumane. This kind of behaviour is NOT the way we should be solving the brumbies overpopulation crisis. it will NEVER BE ACCEPTABLE. People put up posts about them killing people in road accidents. Incase you haven’t noticed, they and many other animals have walked this earth before there were any roads! They have just as much right to walk upon that hard slab of painted concrete than we ever did! I say we find a more acceptable way to deal with this situation. When shooting from the air, not only is it completely unfair advantage wise, but when shot, it often doesn’t kill the brumbie straight away. They bleed out slowly and suffer a pro longed period of pain. They are also completely defenceless and susceptible to all sorts of predators.
