Celebrate Wild Horses! Announcing the Spring 2015 Wild Horse Photo Contest.
Post your submissions (limit of 2 photos per photographer) on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ProtectMustangs from today until April 2, 2015. Photos of wild horses from around the world are welcome. Winners will be announced by April 30, 2015. Good Luck : )
Info: Post the photos on https://www.facebook.com/ProtectMustangs in a unique post. They will show up under the “Posts by others” section. Photographers keep the rights to their photos. Winners get a certificate of award. There is no entry fee. Anyone can enter but the photos must be of wild horses.
As a photorapher and visual artist, I realize the power of the image. It effects people’s emotions and psyche to see the raw beauty of wilds. A strong capture of a mustang, running free, raises the public awareness of the immeasurable value of America’s heritage horses. If we are to preserve these nationsl treasures for future generations, we have to act now; before they are gone from public lands!

This will be exciting. The contest is a favorite of mine even though I can not participate due to illness in family. These wild horses are amazing. So few of them anymore and my grandchildren will enjoy this. Hope we have some great foal pictures in the herds and people see what grand horses these icons of the west are . Will spread the word. Its a good chance to showcase the world of the wild horse ( brumbys n mustangs) how magic they are in any country .
What proper way to gain the power and scope of the American Public, than to make it as public as possible to the widest audience possible, depicting our National Living Treasures, the wild horses!

This contest is important as it often shows wild horse in their habitat. There is so few left over the range their home.

Great contest. Looking forward to the submissions from all the wonderful photographers out there! It is such a pleasure seeing images of the horses living wild and free, as they belong. Photos although beautiful can never replace the real thing, so let’s all make sure that never happens!
