Protect Mustangs is a nonprofit organization who protects and preserves native and wild horses.
This is truly evil. To take these beautiful horses from the lands that are meant for them and get rid of them. 75% of all Americans have said they do not want these horses taken from this land, nor hurt in any way, yet there are those who feel they are God and have rights that others don’t. Even though we pay their paychecks, we have a right to say what happens to these horses and where our money is going. One thing we do know we are tired of farmers taking the very land that these horses need to live just so they can pad their pockets with money, and they never worry one day about what they are doing.
One day you will pay for what you have done and are thinking of doing to these horses!
We should protect what was here when we invaded the Indians. Mustangs are part of our American culture, they need to be valued and preserved not destroyed due to the greed of ranchers. There has been a long established wild life system that will balance it self . Additional sterilization is not needed if the herd is not beyond capacity.
Protect our public landss and the wild life on it, e.e especially our wild horses. Now we all know what happened in 2008, when the blm claimed they were going to kill 33,000 Wild Horses, M. Pickens went to them to take the 33,000 and the blm told her no. She asked the blm for 500 a head to take them. Common Sense folks, the 33,000 are not there, probably slaughtered a long time ago…..same with this smoke screen. They can not account for the wild horses in long term holding and have no idea how many are left on the ranges…..God Bless AmericaProtect our public land and the wild life e.g. wild horses, on it.

Mother nature is about natural balance follow the laws of nature not convenience, fear, budget constraints, etc.. History shows aggressive tactics do not work.
THIS IS A LAND GRAB. MINERAL RIGHTS GIVEN TO CHINA, ETC. ILLEGALLY BY CLINTON AND CRONIES.
IF YOU HAVE ANY CONSCIENCE, PLEASE PROTECT THE LAND IN ALL FORMS FROM DECIMATION.
REMOVING WILDLIFE IS THE FIRST DESTRUCTIVE STEP.
THANK YOU, MICHELLE HOOD
There are safe and HUMANE ways of regulating herds with anti-fertility drugs administered safely through dart injections.
The BLM and others with financial agendas blatantly ignore the fact our wild horses are FEDERALLY PROTECTED.
Any illegal acts imposed on these vulnerable, precious horses should be PROSECUTED. Perpetrators should be locked away from family and friends and kept in overcrowded, sweltering or freezing conditions as they impose on the country’s wild horses.
As an American citizen, tax payer, and animal lover, especially our wild horses, I ask that you keep our wild horses and burros free and left alone by government interference…no more roundups and no more slaughter. Thank You
I simply cannot understand why there is a war on these wonderful wild horses and burros. They have been there in a long time, why you cannot simply leave them alone and let them enjoy there life. Why do humans always need to destroy weaker creatures.
we do NOT want sterilizations or fertility control on UNDERPOPULATED herds. Leave them alone.
Dear BLM Officials:
The public wants to trust their governmental officials. If you make decisions regarding the future welfare of wild burro’s and mustangs, it must be without the influence of cattle industry and related livestock lobbying activities.
According to the Canadian Horse Defense Coalition, 60% of equines sent to their slaughterhouses are from the USA and the majority of these horses are from BLM lands. If these statistics are accurate, the BLM is representing cattle owners whose herds are grazing on public lands, and not the interests of the mustangs.
Please change your detrimental policies regarding mustangs on public lands, as they do not represent the interests of wild burro’s and equines, or the American people.
Thank-you,
Anna Rose Ravenwoode
Leave our wild horses alone. We don’t have enough of them and those who want less are only selfishly wanting to use public land for their own personal gain.
Thank you very much for this info!! I wish I could attend this meeting, but will not be able to. However, I will certainly be submitting my comment. I believe the BLM is only going through the motions of allowing the public to comment, but in reality they could not care less what any of us have to say. That being said, they do need to know there are millions of us out here that want our wild horses and burros protected and not sent to slaughterhouses and have vile Nazi-like sterilization experiments performed on them. The corruption in the so-called “government” of this country is deeply disturbing.
The corrupt policies & practices of our government and the BLM needs to be eradicated. It is your job to protect and serve our wildlife that we as citizens pay & depend on. The cattle industry, mining & oil industries do not have a say, & should not even be a factor in any decisions. Yet too many are paying to have things their way. Nature has done quite well for thousands of years, without the interference of greedy men. The citizens of this country demand your leaving our public lands & Wildlife alone. Every member needs to be replaced on every level. They have failed their obligations by allowing this slaughter & it needs to end.
Mr.Harvey you make my stomach turn! Stop thinking about your pocketbook & your entitlement to our public lands!!!! Stop being unAmerican and save our history of America!! These horses and burros helped us to win the west! They are beautiful and should remain wild & free on our public lands!!
we need to protect are wild horses and burros these animals are on federal protected lands by sterilizing and castrate male horses I have seen the video of the BLM the barbaric way of sterilization of burros and horses. I have nightmares every night thinking about what these animals feel. By doing this you are making them become extinct you need to take our tax payers money and educate these ranchers folks its the 21st century save the wild horses and burros before its to late
Why are you making so many of your people angry shocked and heart broken, they do not want these precious horse’s touched let alone slaughterd. When are you going to take a step back and look what is happening to your country, you are not happy unless you are killing some specious of your wild animal’s, doesn’t matter to you what it is, if it’s in the way and not making money for you then you make up a load of rubbish why these poor innocent animals have to die. You should hang your head’s in shame. Don’t you think America is big enough for all ? I’m glad I don’t live in your country, a country that doesn’t care, thank goodness there are some fighting so hard for the safety of these precious horse’s god bless them for all there hard work.
Please stop all the abuse that is done by the BLM.their the ones that need to be round up and stopped. If only we could get new people who care. The horses are getting the raw deal from these ppl. After all the horses have done for ppl they want to make sure that they go extinct just being the greegy asses they are. Give the land back to them and leave them alone.
Protect all wild mustangs. No Excuses
We all need to come together as profound intelligent folks and protect our wildlife, resources and wild mustangs and burros!
