RED ALERT: Sage Creek (#1478) from Sarge’s herd has 3-Strikes, is miserable and needs to get to sanctuary not slaughter!

PM SAGE CREEK #1487 6 yr mare Fish Creek

Was Sage Creek (#1478) given Pesticide PZP like so many of the Fish Creek mares from Sarge’s herd who were rounded up, forcibly drugged but never released?

Look how the Bureau of Land Management inflates population numbers to justify roundups and the need for Pesticide PZP:

Fish Creek (NV)
256 = Population-estimate 2013
461 = Population-estimate 2014, before foaling season (January)
80.1% = Percentage increase in one year? Looks like some funny numbers!

Here are some Fish Creek mares at the BLM’s facility in Fallon, Nevada in 2015. They were going to be given Pesticide PZP and returned to the range but many were never returned. How many were slammed with 3-Strikes and where are they?

Can you find Sage Creek in with her relations?

Fish Creek Mares Indian Lakes aka Broken Arrow 2015

The BoLM doesn’t want to use widespread PZP they want a one-shot quick way to sterilize America’s wild horses based on the false premise that wild horses are overpopulated and need fertility control. . . when the truth is they are being managed to extinction!

Supporting PZP only supports the BLM’s divide and conquer game to ruin a united force to protect America’s wild horses. It’s time to focus on the wild horses not pesticides.

Now Sage Creek looks horrible and should be honored with a life in sanctuary away from those who brutally ripped her from her family and freedom when they rounded up the Fish Creek wild mares for Pesticide PZP–made from slaughterhouse pig ovaries.

From Protect Mustangs:

You can help by sharing Sage Creek’s (#1478) post to find a sanctuary who will give her a safe forever life and help her improve her body condition. Sage Creek never deserved to be forcibly drugged with Pesticide PZP under the false promise of returning to the wild, get 3-Strikes and become at-risk of ending up at slaughter. Share to help save her now!

Together we can turn this around.

  1. These horses should be released back into the wild on safe land not being utilized Isn’t that what our tax paying money is for protecting our horses .. If your not going to protect them I want my money back!

  2. Protect Mustangs keeps bringing these horses to our attention, and lamenting that they should be released to a sanctuary, but offer no realistic way for people who are willing to put up money to buy and save these animals. A fund could be set up, a campaign on a crowd funding site could be set up. Also, are you reaching out to organizations such as PETA, ASPCA, Animal Recovery Mission, Best Friends, etc. There must be some way to do direct interventions, instead of just showing pictures of horses and giving some bidding information. This approach alone does not appear to be working.

  3. This approach appears to be working as some people have expressed interest in saving some of the wild horses and some have already adopted them as a result of this effort 🙂
    It takes a village.

  4. “The only difference between a dog, cat, horse and dolphin and a cow, chicken, pig and turkey is perception. One is no more valuable than another. And yet in this culture, we hold the former animals in high esteem and the latter we brutalize for food. All animals are deserving of respect and freedom from violence. The way to respect others is veganism.”

  5. I want the wild horses and burros free on OUR public lands. Every one working at BLM responsible for the destruction of our wild horses and burros should be fired and federal pension taken. The Secretary of the Interior should step down if she had honor or integrity. The horse and burros belong to the American people not the arm of the federal government. The ranchers that rent federal land for the “grass fed beef” should be ashamed. It is the almighty dollar follow the money: from BLM, ranchers, killer buyers, slaughter houses they all have the blood of hundreds of mares, foals and stallions and the poor burros on there hands. Think of the blood lines destroyed by these thugs! Where in the world are the citizens of this country to stop this destruction of an American icon? How can this cruelty continue and everyone turn a blind eye to the situation? Of course, I left out Congress who worries about reelection and not protecting the wishes of the American people. Poor horses and burros suffer and ruthless men and women think of ways to destroy them. Where are the Native American Nations and the American Humane Associations??? May the Good Lord have mercy on our dear wild horses and burros and enlighten the minds of the ruthless people who would destroy them,

  6. They can not sell this poor soul to slaughter since she has been used in an experiment. No matter how they flip this she was still injected with a pesticide. Has she had any offers?

  7. My heart breaks every time one of these posts. I feel so helpless here because I don’t have the space or the funds to rescue them.
