In your own words tell the BLM the following:
1.) I object to using my tax dollars to experiment on, forcibly drug with PZP and / or sterilize America’s wild horses.
2.) I do not want federally protected wild horses to be used for a research experiment using radio collars, devices in tails and spaying America’s federally protected wild mares. Sterilization is a form of harassing wild horses and against the law.
3.) The wild horses found in the White Mountain and Little Colorado HMA’s are not excess according to the Wild and Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971. There is only 1 wild horse per 6,000 acres in White Mountain. The BLM fraudulently inflates population growth (http://protectmustangs.org/?p=8551) and never performs a real headcount.
4.) I support natural selection and I am against fertility control of any kind because wild horses deserve to live on public land set aside principally but not exclusively for their use. Allowing more than 50 to 1 units of livestock to wild horses is unfair and goes against the 1971 wild horse protection act.
5.) Fertility control, such as with PZP and spaying, will destroy the herd’s genetic viability, wreck havoc on their behavior and social structure so therefore I am against it.
6.) I want to be able to come to Wyoming to see and photograph the White Mountain and Little Colorado wild horse bands with foals exhibiting natural behaviors–without radio collars and other devices–and definitely not sterilized.
7.) PZP sterilizes after multiple use and I do not want these wild horses sterilized.

Please rethink your plan to use PZP on these wild horses. They are not overpopulated and this form of birth control is unnecessary. Let them roam free and/or restrict access of their range from cows and sheep, which is at the heart of this problem. Not the horses.

Wild horses and burros should not be used for research experiments using radio collars, devices in tails and invasive procedures such as spaying America’s federally protected wild mares. It’s rare for domestic mares to be spayed but when they are, they are carefully monitored in a safe clean environment until their sutures have healed.
Sterilization is a form of harassing wild horses and against the law. It’s bad enough using PZP but spaying the mares is very wrong – you all are out of your minds if you spay the mares and release them!!!! Sounds like Frankenstein has come up with this plan!!!
People who don’t care what they destroy should burn in flames of the underworld for having no passion or anything what so ever. These animals have done nothing wrong and belong here wild and free as much we the people belong here. Animals should have thoses same damned rights.
Why don’t you go and sterilize child

The American Mustangs belong to people ask us what shall we do with the Mustangs from what I hear they’re underpopulated now thanks to the BLM they need to just keep their hands off you were given the job to protect them and take care of them not PZP them you’re not taking care of them properly the American people need the opportunity to apply for this job the BLM now should be fired hire people that care there are so many out there that would be much better at this job then who’s in there now
This is disturbing and something needs to be done about the people that feel it necessary to interrupt the lives of these horses that grew up on these lands and belong to these lands and need to stay there and the cattle need to be pastured on ranchlands not public lands the public lands are for the horses

Why do we humans think we have to control the animal population? What is it with the BLM wanting to sterilize horses, burros & donkeys? Our wild horses are magnificent! Burros & donkeys have always been our go to animals as our helpers. Please leave these animals live in peace. We have more than enough land to be able to coexist. The horses, burros & donkeys can manage their own populations if we just let them be.

We all need to be concerned before our wildlife has payed with their lives! The Greed in all our country’s has gotten out of control . We need to pay attention and give what ever it takes to stop the needless killing of all our animals!
