Share the Awesome News!!! Congress passed the spending bill last night. There will be no funding for USDA inspections. Horse slaughter for human consumption is on hold. We’re so happy, but we all have more work to do! Now let’s get the SAFE Act (HR 1094 and S 541) passed, to ban horse slaughter in the United States, as well as transport of horses to Mexico and Canada for slaughter!
